Cut Basil in the early morning. This will ensure they have the most taste. Cut leaves from the bottom of the plant and leave the ones on the top.
Wash Basil in cold water and vinegar.
Place in dehydrator at 130 degrees. They will be done in 1-3 hours, depending on your dehydrator.
Once dehydrating is complete place in a large bowl and crush into smaller pieces.
Store in your preferred AIR TIGHT container.
